Do you have a newsletter?

Do you have a newsletter or ezine?

I asked a few women in my networking group this exact same question.

Out of the six I asked that expressed that they felt they were not engaging enough with their community and only two had one.

I was really surprised because the most affordable way to reach not only your target market but your current clients and customers is to simply offer a newsletter.

Offering a newsletter is a fantastic way to build your brand, explain what you are really all about and build long lasting relationships with your readers. People like to buy from people they know or have some sort of relationship with.

When the time comes to purchase what you offer you will be fresh in your readers’ mind.

There are several affordable services you can use Constant Contact, Aweber are popular choices.

Another wonderful service is Ecourse Wizard at only $2 a month for up to 1,000 subscribers. You can’t send post cards at this rate.

If you do not offer a newsletter here are some simple steps to get started [click to tweet].

#1 Start simple – introduce yourself, one of your produce or services.
#2 Be clear – Capture your reader’s attention and have something of value to say. Stay on Point.
#3 Don’t make it too long – Value your reader’s time.
#4 Proofread – make sure there are no spelling and grammar errors
#5 Proofread – double check phone numbers and addresses. Call the numbers.
#6 Proofread – double check all dates and times that are mentioned in your newsletter make sure they are correct.

Keep the ideas coming.
Get a spiral bound notebook and jot down ideas as they come to you.

Later you can use this as an idea starter to research more ideas later.
