If You Can Imagine It
You’ve been dreaming of it. You’ve spent time during the day imaging it. You’ve even drawn sketches or fiddled with figures over and over again. You have ideas for your business and you are so ready to make them a reality. And then you think, “Who am I kidding? It’s just too big and I’m too small.”
There are many wonderful things in this world that would have been left undone if certain people had imagined themselves too small for such big tasks.
There have been those that audaciously wanted to harness the power of electricity when no one else at that time could have dreamed of such a thing. Thomas Edison, through many failures, finally conquered electricity and brought its power to every home in America.
There have been those that looked up at the sky and envied the birds. Despite being told how impossible the task was, the Wright brothers would eventually prove that man could fly.
Their ideas weren’t just big, they were massive. They met with lots of failure, but they made use of each failed attempt. In essence, they moved forward believing that the impossible was possible and that if they could imagine it, then it could be real.
Your ideas are big too. You have the talent you need to realize those big dreams and the drive to keep going even if you should meet a few bumps in the road.
As Mr. Edison said, “Be courageous. Be brave as your fathers before you. Have faith! Go forward!”
You have two choices.
#1: Shelve those grand schemes and ideas and always wonder if you could have made them happen.
#2: Get to work.
It’s up to you.
